Program Overview
The SWEPCO CoolSaver© Program is designed to help SWEPCO residential customers increase the performance of their air conditioning (A/C) and heat pump systems. The program staff work with local air conditioning distributor networks to offer two key program components:
• training contractors on the air conditioning tune-up and air flow correction services and protocols
• paying incentives to contractors and providing discounts to their customers for the successful implementation of air conditioning tune-up and air flow correction services
Energy savings are obtained through the correction of A/C system inefficiencies identified during the tune-up activities. At this time, residential customers of SWEPCO are eligible to participate in this program.
