Duct Sealing
You're paying to cool your air. Don't let it escape! On average, 20 percent of the air that passes through duct systems is lost due to leakage. Sealing ducts ensures that cool air reaches its destination - you and your family.
Also, properly sealing ducts can improve indoor air quality by preventing fumes, dust and pollutants from circulating through your home.
Well-sealed ducts allow your heating and air conditioning system to work less to keep your home comfortable, which may help your A/C equipment last longer, or allow you to downsize to a smaller, less expensive system when it's time to replace your A/C equipment.

Air Infiltration
Heating and cooling account for a majority of your monthly energy bill. If your home isn't properly sealed, chances are much of that cold and warm air is escaping your home, and taking your money with it. Incentives are available for sealing your home.

Insulation
Heating and cooling account for a majority of your monthly energy bill. If your home isn't properly insulated, chances are much of that cold and warm air is escaping your home, and taking your money with it. Incentives are available for ceiling, floor, and wall insulation.
Insulation levels are measured in "R-value," or the ability to resist heat flow. Simply put, the higher the R-value, the better your home is insulated. For instance, the Residential Solutions Program pays rebates for increasing attic insulation levels to R-30.

All the while keeping your home cool and your energy bills low. By blocking at least 65% of the direct sunlight that enters your windows, solar screens will dramatically reduce the amount of energy it takes to cool your home and still allowing plenty of sunlight in.

Refrigerated Air Upgrades
If your air conditioning unit is 10+ years old, you could save up to 30 percent on your cooling costs by replacing it with a more efficient unit. Your contractor can recommend a model that will offer maximum efficiency while ensuring home comfort.
The efficiency of air conditioning units is measured by the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER). Similar to R-value, the higher the SEER, the more efficient the unit.
Note: Incentives are not available for customers switching from evaporative to refrigerated A/C systems
